FINN AMELL | PLAYED BY HERSELF I GUESS? | [attr="class","cafbtbox"] [attr="class","cafh2"]strengths - Survivalist: Since escaping the Circle where her fate would have been sealed, she's been doing the best she can to simply survive. In the beginning she wasn't on anyone's side, just taking the side she had to in order to survive the void which the world had been thrown into. But hanging around with Shady apostates gone wild has its disadvantages, and it's still hard for her to trust "The Normal", despite the war being long over.
- Intelligent: Finn is very intelligent, putting her all into studying within the Circle and continuing long after she left it. She's very competent and learns new things quickly, only needing bit a small while to process the information being given to her.
- Quick: Finn has always been quick in both mind and body. She processes things quickly in the heat of the moment and she's quick to come up with a counter or find a way to get away if things are going south. It makes her a formidable foe in battle, but having Fade-Step, that also helps a lot. So if you're out to get her, she hopes to not catch you later.
- Strong-Willed It takes a lot to get Finn to give up, and this has been what has for the most part helped keep her alive all these years. Too stubborn to die, means you can't die, right? Well, Finn likes to think so. And if you don't agree with her....er....go screw a cactus....or something like that.
- Leader: She's not one to take the backseat when it comes to leadership, once she was a shy young mage who would do follow like a sheep, if it meant helping a friend. But that taught her that you can't always trust someone, even someone who you think you know like the back of your hand. Why trust someone else with your life if you can't be sure they'll be there after you've looked away from them?
| | [attr="class","cafbtbox"] [attr="class","cafh2"]flaws - Distrustful: Finn has learned that not everyone can be trusted, and given the opportunity almost anyone will stab you in the back. So its become hard for her to trust anyone. That...That might explain the cabin in the wilds and the reclusive attitude. She ony visits towns and villages when its absolutely needed or if she needs ale...ale is nice, ale can't hold a dagger. Though she'd like friends sometimes, they're a real hassle to keep, as already proven.
- Impatient: Finn doesn't like waiting around for things to happen. Finn likes to get things done. This is probably why she dislikes waiting around, and though she lives out of city limits (Despite the Divine's best...efforts when it comes to mages?)she is hardly at home in her own Cabin, often moving from place to place and returning home within days or weeks after she leaves.
- Sarcastic: Yes, this just so happens to be a problem. She has a bit of a sharp tongue and sometimes its hard to determine where to draw the line between when she's being serious or completely sarcastic. It would help if Sarcasm hadn't developed as her new Mother Language during the war.
- Reckless: She may not have many things she does care about, but when she cares about something, she'll do anything to defend it, whether she realizes this or not. She's brave, and sometimes bravery leads to stupidity. And stupidity leads to injuries. Hopefully, we don't have to tell you the next branch of that cycle.
- Stubborn: If she's right, she's right. If she's wrong, she'll spend about an hour trying to make herself right. It's not easy to dissuade Finn once she's hooked on something. So uh...good luck talking to that brick wall, tell me how that goes.

| [attr="class","cafbox"] FORTY-FIVE [attr="class","cafbox"] FEMALE [attr="class","cafbox"] HUMAN [attr="class","cafbox"] MAGE [attr="class","cafbox"] FERELDEN | [PTabbedContent][PTab=History] Once upon a time, Finn Amell was a promising apprentice among Kinloch Hold in Ferelden. When she was first taken from her family, she was known as Sasha Amell, however she had always disliked the name. No one at the circle knew her, so she decided it was a perfect time to change her name. With no one any the wiser of her name, she became Finn. And despite initially being nervous about the Circle, she took easily to studying, and even began to enjoy it. It was at a young age that she met another mage named Jowan. They had a lot in common, and she decided that this was to be her friend, overtime growing to trust him more than anyone else she knew.
But she always feared for Jowan’s well-being as he seemed to fall short of the rest of them. He often confided in her about his fears, how he thought he wasn’t good enough. At the time she thought the world of him, telling him there was nothing to worry about, that he would be fine. Of course she had her own things to worry about, but she took the time to soothe his concerns as well. Teen years were not easy for the young mage either, as she found men to be more and more interesting, including one such Templar who was a lot kinder at the time than the others. But it was a foolish crush, something she knew couldn’t happen, and after a time she put it to the side, with no point in pursuing it.
And soon she undertook her harrowing, woken up one day in the middle of the night to visit the realm of dreams, face literal demons as she soon found out. But she passed, and much quicker than anyone had expected. She was finally a member of the Circle, though as she would find out soon enough, it was going to be a very short lived achievement. Jowan had fears that he was going to be made Tranquil due to rumors of him being a blood mage. He promised her they weren’t true, soon revealed he had fell in love with a chantry initiate named Lily, that they wanted to destroy his phylactery, so he would be free to run with Lily wherever he wished. She didn’t believe they were a good match, and she knew it would get her in trouble, but she trusted Jowan, and so she agreed to help them.
But when they were caught at the end of their adventure, everything she thought she knew had been turned on its head as Jowan used blood magic in an effort to protect Lily, who soon after told him she wanted nothing to do with him. So Jowan ran, and Finn knew she had no choice. To survive, she had to run. To beat Jowan into a pulp, she had to chase him. And so she did, once far enough, the two got into a confrontation but Jowan managed to escape her. She was alone, and she decided for being so naïve, she deserved it. But if she ever saw Jowan again, she was going to shove a shiv down his throat.
And for the rest of the Blight she was on the run. With her phylactery still intact they found her again and again, requiring her to be one step ahead of them at all times. It was some time years and years later, with a group of rebel mages where she was finally able to destroy the damn thing, and free to go where she pleased, she chose the growing Rebellion, seeming to be the best way to survive. After all, years of being hunted would make anyone a bit angry, wouldn’t it? She wanted revenge, but she also didn’t want the blood on her hands. So she worked her way up, eventually leading a group of rebels of her own. She only dirtied her hands very few times, against the Red Templars. The Breach should have been a reason to stop, but things had to continue.
And they did, until the Inquisitor managed to drive a wedge into the war, and she wasn’t ready to die. So, she fled again, something she had become a master at in recent years, slipping into the wilds and finally settling there after the breach had been officially closed. It’s actually where she officially lives until this day. No one would recognize her as the mage she once was, or a mage from the rebellion. At the current moment, Finn simply lives for herself and no one else. She’s not out to kill anyone, simply to live in peace, even if she’s not the happiest with mankind right now she’s not about to go raising any wars, even if she has an itch to try. Getting lonely is getting old, but it’s better than ending up dead by a friend’s hand. And she’s not sure if that mindset of hers will ever change.

- Finn has one friend, a bear which she found as a cub a few years ago, its mother slaughtered as game. And so she took him in, raising him into the large and frankly dangerous creature he is now. While he won't attack her, she still respects him as a wild creature, and does not keep him chained up so he can come and go as he pleases. Though he chooses to stay close to her Cabin even when she isn't present. He guards it.
- While it seems hard to befriend her...okay, it is hard, but it's not an impossible task. Deep down Finn really wants friends but can't seem to get herself to trust enough when it comes to making them. Patience is key, but Ale helps too.
- She really, really likes the Fade Step ability.
