 So, here we have Duran Aeducan. Hero of Ferelden and the Fifth Blight, Paragon of Orzammar, Head of House Duran, and Dwarven history nerd. All in one. RelationshipsI'll get into the details later (bear with me, I am bad at plotters xD)! Basically, though, he gets along easily with just about anyone. He'll be pretty bitter towards the irresponsible and the foolish, most likely. He's very good at working in groups, though not averse to working alone. PlottingDuran is still trying to find a cure to the Calling; that is his current goal, and he's very goal-oriented, so diverting from this goal won't happen much. Still, I can have him be just about anywhere (right now I'm having him in the Emerald Graves). Feel free to hit me up for plots, and I love being a part of people's plots and helping further their character development. Always fun! |

So I was thinking that maybe Duran and Aatami could meet up on one of the Blighters' jobs. If the Blighters were hired to track down Magical Artifact #10 and Duran hears the artifact has something to do with the Calling, their paths could intersect. Alternatively, Duran hires them to cover more ground than he can do alone. The Blighters are also often hired to combat the Fade Rifts that still exist on Thedas, and since Duran is a Warden, they could meet in battle.
Depending on Duran's opinions of mages, Aatami is a pretty irresponsible one since he works magic on instincts with only a small grasp of any theory beyond the basics. Maybe conflict?

Duran AeducanHawke doesn't know much about the Calling or the whole Gray Warden thing, but I can definitely see the two running into one another. Multiple times. Probably because they're both adventuring. I'm not sure how she'd get on with him, but he's the Hero of Fereldan. Once she figured that out....... I still don't know how she'd get on with him lol! Their views on certain things may differ or they may not, but that's all up to how we play it I think. Honestly, I think if we find somewhere to post and start knocking their heads together, we'll both find out.

Hmmm…I’d really like a chance to go down into the Deep Roads, so if the Blighters are being hired to go down into the Deep Roads to retrieve something and Duran finds out or vice versa maybe they can do it together. A mission sorta like Golems of Amgarrak was or something. Alternatively, we could be hunting a high dragon, because Duran would likely know—due to probably having a copy of Frederic du Serrault’s notes—by now that draconic blood has some resistance to the Taint. o: ALSO I’m sensing a potential group thread? Duran, Aatami, and Jaiden? C: Would be super-fun if y’all are down for it.  I’d prefer it’s not by chance that they meet, by the way! Maybe they’ve arranged a meeting.
